Let’s take a look at what this app can do and how you can use it.

What Does the mmguardian App Do?

The mmguardian app helps you keep your child safe by allowing you to monitor their activity and apply parental controls. You can track their location, view texts and calls, view web history, block apps or websites, set time limits for certain activities, and more. There are also additional features such as geofencing that let you know when your child enters or leaves certain areas and alert you if any suspicious activity is detected.

Using the mmguardian app is easy! Once you download the app onto your phone, follow the instructions to install it on your kid’s device as well. MMGuardian parental-control app review

Even though MMGuardian has a lot of features, it’s not very easy to use.

Pros:

  1. Android has a lot of features
  2. Grained controls
  3. iOS and Android users can read texts

Cons:

  1. Costs more when you have more than one device
  2. The user interface is terrible.
  3. iOS has few features.

The company that makes MMGuardian was started in 2012 after the founders had trouble keeping track of what their kids were doing on their devices.

This seems to have led to throwing everything into the mix: MMGuardian has almost every feature you can think of, but both the Android and iOS user interfaces are old and often hard to use. It’s not one of the best apps for keeping kids safe.

Even if you use Android and want a lot of features, you might be willing to look past MMGuardian’s flaws if you like how much control it gives you and how much information it gives you. And even though both Apple and Google are making it harder for apps to log and block calls and texts and even read texts, MMGuardian has found ways to keep offering these features on both platforms.

I have to admit that I was impressed when I saw all of MMGuardian’s features. But if there’s one thing I’ve learned from testing parental control and security tools, it’s that listing features is a lot easier than putting them into an app.

The ability to group apps and make one set of rules is my favorite feature. I haven’t seen it on any other parental control app. For example, I put all the games and social media apps in one group and gave them each a time limit. This is great because not only does it teach my daughter how to manage her time, but she can still use the phone for other things, like doing her homework or talking to her friends.

I’m a little disappointed that I can only set a schedule for how much time I spend on my screen and not set a general time limit. If your family needs the time limit feature, you should give Qustodio a try. They have a daily time limit tool, and you can try it for free for 30 days and get your money back if you don’t like it.

I’ll go into more detail about each feature below, but if you don’t have much time, here’s a quick rundown: MMGuardian comes with a web filter that can be changed, tools for managing screen time, tracking location, monitoring apps, and more.

With MMGuardian’s 14-day free trial, I was able to try out the app without having to enter any payment information.

Are you worried that your child isn’t where they should be? With MMGuardian, you can quickly find out where they are.
